The vision statement of the Marine Biology Section is to educate and foster interest in marine biology and coastal habitats for members of Nature Vancouver and the public at large.

Marine Biology Evening Programs: Click on Evening Programs for a list of upcoming programs.
The evening programs of the Marine Biology Section are held from January through April and September through December on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Unity Church at 5840 Oak Street (Oak at 42nd Ave), Vancouver. These programs are open to the public and members are encouraged to invite their friends. For more information and suggestions for future programs please contact the Program Co-ordinator Joan Lopez at 604-682-1617.
 
Explore the Rocky Shore in Stanley Park - Intertidal Pamphlet
In 2009, the Marine Biology Section of Nature Vancouver published a pamphlet that contains a field guide to 40 prominent intertidal species of marine life which inhabit the rocky shore in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC. The pamphlet is printed on waterproof and durable paper and is available at Nature Vancouver evening programs. Click on Nature Vancouver Intertidal Pamphlet to see a PDF copy.
