All the programs and activities of Nature Vancouver are made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers. There is always room for new members to get involved and helpout. If you want to know more about the available volunteer positions, please contact President and Volunteer Co-ordinator,
Margaret Coutts at 604-512-1413. At the moment we are looking for volunteers for the follwing positions:
The Young Naturalists' Club of BC is looking for adult volunteers
1. To help with mail-out, creating items for new member packs and other small tasks.
Where: YNC Office, 1620 Mt. Seymour Road, North Vancouver (the old Provincial Parks office) (map)
When: once a month
This would probably suit members living on the North Shore.
2. To assist with the start up of a new YNC in Stanley Park, partnering with the Stanley Park Ecology Society, starting January 2009.
We are also looking for volunteers interested in being part of a team to start a new YNC in Richmond and in Delta.
3. To mentor Nature Clubs in Elementary Schools.
