Vancouver Christmas Bird Count

Area leaders will be contacted in next two weeks and team members who were active in last two years Counts.
 
Information will be available at Birders' Night Nov.05 and sign up sheets and an I.D. clinic will be held at Birder's Night Dec.03 as well as Count Kits for pick up and explanation and briefing on forms and fees.
 
There are many Count Areas to cover from the North Shore, Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond and all birders, recorders and naturalists are welcome to sign onto a team. Count day starts at 8:00 AM and finishes at dusk. A Post Count Supper with soup and hot drinks will be held at St. Mary's Church gymnasium at 37th Avenue and Larch St. in Vancouver. Doors open at 4:30 PM and Supper at 6:00 PM. $8 at the door for supper. Supper will be followed by Area Reports and Compilers Species Count Check and a popular Bird Quiz and a door prize. Contact Jude Grass to volunteer to help with the food.
