Nature Vancouver

Master Bander  Derek Matthews will present the results of a very exciting year at Colony Farm – over 3,000 birds of 63 species were banded, which is really quite amazing given that the banding effort was restricted mostly to weekends! The presentation will discuss the banding program, including why banding is important and how it works as well as its educational aspects, including the training workshops.
