Take a morning birding walk with Cathy Aitchison along the trails at the southwest end of Burnaby Lake. This is an easy walk through the shrubby lakeside vegetation, opening out in places for views of the lake. The large population of Wood Ducks should be in evidence as well as other waterfowl and many nesting Tree Swallows, warblers, vireos, and other spring arrivals.
