Join Istvan Orosi for a half-day bird walk around Burnaby’s Deer Lake. We will be looking for early migrants, over wintering passerines and waterfowl. Recently Anna’s hummingbirds became residents around the lake. With some luck we can see more than one. Bring hiking boots, rain gear, sunscreen and lunch. Meet Istvan at the Royal Oak Avenue parking lot at 0830. (Note that entrance to this small parking lot can only be reached from the northbound lanes of Royal Oak). Contact Istvan at 604-524-8046.
