This is a moderately strenuous hike, gaining 500 metres in elevation in 4 km, most of which is at the beginning. Some parts may be rough and wet so good footwear is essential. Bring lunch, rain gear, sunscreen and insect repellent. Carpool at McDonald's in Park Royal at 7:30 a.m. or meet at Brandywine Falls Provincial Park, 47 km north of Squamish, at 8:45 a.m. Please note that the highway improvement project has changed access to both the trail and the park. Contact the leader in advance if you plan to meet at the park. Leader: Bill Kinkaid, billkinkaidATgmail.com or 604-710-6329.
