This 4 km hike with only 50 m elevation gain is ideal to learn the geology and Natural History of this Provincial Park. Carpool near the entrance to Safeway in Parkgate Village Shopping Centre (corner of Mt. Seymour Parkway & Mt. Seymour Road in North Vancouver) at 10 a.m. Bring change for pay parking, lunch, water and dress for possible changes in weather.  Wear deep tread hiking boots with ankle support as the trail is steep, rooty and slippery in places. Sneakers not recommended. Leader: David Cook, cookeco2ATyahoo.com or 604-924-0147.
