This is the time of the year when we are fortunate to have pelagic seabirds such as Parasitic Jaegers and alcids visit the Point. We will meet in the parking area of Lighthouse Marine Park at 9:00 a.m. The incoming tide is at 1.6 m / 5.2'. Upwelling currents on the incoming tide stir up schools of fish, creating a bit of banquet for seabirds and marine mammals. Please bring proper ID for border crossing. Leader: Viveka Ohman, ohmanvAThotmail.com or 604-531-3401.
