This is a moderate hike to Coquitlam’s Regional Park. Elevation gain is about 180m. Duration: about 5 hours. Hike through the forested trails and up to Addington Lookout and High Knoll viewpoint and later walk along the dykes to watch for wildlife that makes their home in this protected marshland. Dress for changes in the weather, wear sturdy shoes as trails may be slippery at this time of the year, and bring lunch and water. Carpool with the leader at Franklin and Pentincton at 9:00 a.m. or meet in the Quarry Road parking lot in Minnekhada at 10:00 a.m. Leader: Nellie Bacou, nelliebaATtelus.net or 604- 221-1620.

Important: Please contact the leader in advance if you plan to go on this trip. If the weather is bad, the trip will be cancelled.
