Lynn Peak, Lynn Headwaters regional Park, District of North Vancouver.

A day of hiking in a typical coastal rainforest. We will climb up through second growth forest, then wind through a stand of old growth forest (the Enchanted Forest at 650 m) before reaching the summit of Lynn Peak at 992 m. where we will have views of the surrounding mountains. Bring bug spray, lunch, plenty of water & dress for changes in weather.

Meet in the northernmost parking lot of Lynn Headwaters Regional Park at 9:00 am.

Distance & duration: 8.8 km return/5 hours return from the parking lot.

Trail Conditions:  A steep, steady climb getting steeper and rougher over the last 3km. Difficulty Rating: C5 to D5.

Elevation Gain: 730 m.
