Great Spring Bloom in the Southwest.

PostDateIcon Mon, 2008/03/17 - 8:37pm | PostAuthorIcon ronlong

I have just returned yesterday (March 15) from Anza Borrego State
Park near San Diego and the flowers are fabulous. Good rain
throughout the Southwest has resulted in a spring bloom that some say
is the equal of the 2005 spectacular. So if you have wanted to visit
Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Southern Arizona, Southern California or
many other sites in the area this is the year to go. The flowers in
the South are peaking now but of course will still be great for
several more weeks. And in a couple of weeks the Cactus will be
blooming. There are a lot of different species of Cactus, all of them
are beautiful and alone are worth the trip. I am home for ten days
then I leave to check out the bloom in Texas
