Although hunting in this case means shooting with a digital camera, for a plant enthusiast like me there remains something of the thrill of the chase. Traveling to new localities, tracking down never before seen species and bringing home trophy photos is for me downright exciting. The talk will describe my 2008 travels in California, Oregon, Ontario and Colorado and will hopefully convey the very real pleasure that wildflowers in their natural state can provide.
