Join Maggie Holland for a day hike to Mount Gardner on Bowen Island. Mount Gardner’s elevation gain is 700m (2300’). Meet Maggie at Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal in time to catch the 0900 ferry. Take the Horseshoe Bay Express bus #257 to the ferry terminal (call 604-985-7777 for schedule), or meet at the Park Royal McDonald’s at 0800 to carpool. We will return by the 1600 ferry. In the event of an unfavourable weather forecast we will hike a lower-level trail, perhaps on the mainland. Please be sure to phone Maggie at 604-254-6399 ahead of time in case plans have had to be changed and for more information on the hike.
